Pag is a long and narrow island, which is why the sea can be seen from almost every place. Blue water and white rocks make up the landscape. Built without the use of mortar throughout centuries, stone walls surrounding sheep pastures form a characteristic feature of the island.
Also beaches are typically formed of small and large stones. There are, however, several sandy beaches. If you feel like going to the beach outside Košljun, we recommend the following beaches: Bošana and Sv. Marija near the town of Pag, Filino or Sv. Duh situated next to the old road from Pag to Novalja, or the beach in Šimuni. Beautiful beaches also stretch near a village called Metajna.
Ancient wild-growing olive trees can be found in Lun, in the north-western part of the island.
