HOUSE BARTUL, KOŠLJUN, ISLAND OF PAG

Košljun is a village located on the western coast of the island of Pag, near the town of the same name. Zadar, the second largest town in Dalmatia, is about 60 kilometres away from Košljun. Situated far from big tourist centres, Košljun is ideal for people who want to have a quiet, peaceful holiday.

Set on a hill, House Bartul is 150 metres away from the beach on which 100-year-old stone pines provide shade. If the tiny Košljun seems too dull, you can visit other places on the island as well as the towns of Pag and Novalja. Pag is known not only for its numerous bays and beaches, but also for excellent wine and delicious cheese.

Our house was named after Bartul Kašić, the author of the first Croatian grammar, who was born on the island of Pag.
